All of you people who think the start menu is just used for launching applications -- have you ever used Windows .. beyond Windows 98?
edit: last three words.
I only use it as shortcut commands. Get to D drive, Download Folder, My Documents, Control Panel, WebMatrix, VS, Word, and shutdown button. Occasionally I will need to access app list for non-pinned or non-shortcuted apps.
Anyway, I will spare the details. We all have different reasons to go against the tech preview. Or maybe we are all rooted from a single source, but, our approaches to cope are different.
