after getting the GUI turned on i have to say to the IE team, great work on the speed.

Wonder why they do not just roll this up in a "test build" release WITH a GUI. IE9 is nice, but the beta just isn't good enough to use all the time yet. So close.
-
Anyone tried to install/use the IE9 beta using say ThinApp or with SandBoxie? I've avoided installing it but if it would be possible to get working without breaking IE8 then I might try.

@intelman:
Probably this isn't beta quality. It's intended for a developer audience.
-
@CreamFilling512: Well .. yeah obviously. Chrome and Firefox have Dev builds though. The Internet is now full of guides to give it the beta UI. Doesn't really matter I guess. Either Microsoft provides it or people try to make it work.

I actually kind of want to know if I can do my own DLLs in the .local folder. There are things I still don't like about IE9 GUI, like the terrible Fav placement.
-
I'm looking forward to Beta 2 (if there's going to be one). I encountered stability issues and minor layout bugs with Beta 1.
-
@joechung: i have been getting stability problems with beta 1. getting this new build fixed so much.

I wonder if there is going to be a JavaScript race between Firefox and IE.
