I've changed the inital text in my post, to not rub Herbie the wrong way, and now it's leading a life of it's own.
Let me rephrase;
I think you should be rewarded for the value that you create. And that value is judged by a free market system.
Create a lot of value for society get a lot of reward.
Like a Pirates of the Carribean movie. Lot of value, lot of reward.
Taking out the trash, not a lot of value, not a lot of reward.
Being to weak/sick/impared/etc to create any value for society, you should be helped to find a way so you still can contribute or be put on welfare. Being to lazy to create value and opting for taking money by force from the 400 whealthyist to redistribute as a governmental body sees fit should be seen as an attack against the way we live and should never ever be allowed to happen.
