Im sure there are lots here who remember that before Channel9 and before the .Net Show, there was this series called the MSDN show. Does anyone know where to get the first few episodes? I wanted to watch the first time (episode 8) C# was introduced and Anders was giving some technical discussion.

That's cool. MS still has a lot of the episodes online (which take some digging to locate), but they pulled the plug on the earliest ones. I have a lot of those shows on an old drive somewhere, but not the first few. It's fun to go back now and see the way things were leading up to the .NET launch, and how the ideas got modified along the way.

Yes its interesting to look back at the roots of .NET. This was around 1999 and Microsoft gave free copies of Visual Studio.Net with the Beta version of C#. You had to order this directly from them and they would mail in the cd's. Of course back then, internet connection meant 56k modems, so goodluck downloading VS.net which was around 1GB
