Metro in a Window

One of my beefs with Windows 8, at least on the modern side is that apps take over the entire screen pulling you out of whatever context you were in ("window" instead of "windows".. why does a calculator need to take up the entire 27 inch monitor).  I've thought and voiced, why can't we run Metro apps in a Window on the desktop for those of us using a desktop/laptop.  I was looking at Paul Thurrott's site earlier and I saw he had a post about a Stardock beta product that does this.  I use Start8 and Fences and like them both so I was interested. 

Has anybody used this yet / know anything about it ?

This is not a plug.    I have not used this yet, but I may try the trial, just curious if anyone else had tried it and liked it.
