I'd like to plug in the phone to an amplifier and listen to it closely and compare. I'm convinced the sound chip in my HTC Surround to this day is the best available... and I'm leaning towards your phone vs. the Nokia 920.

Got one on Saturday, and I use mine in the car a lot (Have the HTC Sensation XL on Android). Much to my surprise, but when CD quality music is turned up to near maximum, it sounds terrible, but Beats Audio corrects this, and I can turn it up even more.
I know some may say it's all marketing, but beats audio is much smarter than just being a EQ setting..........just my own 2 pence

Haven't really tested the quality so much, but at the very least, the sound is pretty loud at max volume. I'm content with it so far.

@Ian2: Been using your apps for a few days mainly Live Tile News and I really like it. All I would say is that you can tell a developer has designed it (no offence) really good do with a redesign. Need the font sizes for heading and text sorting etc. plus a proper setting section rather than on the panorama. Email me if you would like some other ideas

My son's an emerging musician and I prefer audio over video/camera.
