I locked it as I decided the thread exceeded it's lifetime (and usefulness). In some sense, given the way the thread started (a la calling a president at Microsoft names), it should have been locked sooner, but the topic is fair game and I decided to add a verbal caution/reminder versus locking and banning. That said, it makes much more sense to engage the Windows team on the b8 blog (where the original post lives). The Windows folks spend a lot of time reading comments there (as opposed to on C9), so you're Windows feedback is better served there...
