The name of the device isn't great but the phone looks really nice.
Like others are saying, I'm still curious what Nokia and HTC are going to do.

It's a Windows phone so of course the product name has to be crappy. Cleverly they decided to go with it's abbreviated name rather than it's full name: Apple-Torte Invincibility Version S
All-in-all the phone looks like a winner. Hope they start out a few bucks cheaper than their competitors. Gotta get the market's attention somehow...

@dentaku: My HTC phone is already close to that SPEC running Android, it is the software that needs to be exciting.

I am camping for Nokia. I like their casual fun color phones. Either Blue or Green for me.

Just please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE have at least one W8 phone for Sprint when they're released. Heck, doesn't even need to be top of the range as long as there is at least one available.
I shattered the screen on my office WP 7.5 HTC Arrive a few months ago and have been holding off getting a new phone to wait for WP8 (the broken phone does still work - just barely).
I've seen plenty of rumors of WP8 on the other providors, but seen natch for Sprint so far and they're not exaclty great at supporting existing WP7, they discontinued the Arrive recently and that's the only WP7 phone they ever had.Sigh.... HATE Sprint, but unfortunately I can't switch because it's a work plan. The rest of the office have iPhones which I really don't want over WP8....

Don't hold your breath - they currently appear to have no plans for a Win8 device this year - looks like they intend to evaluate the response to it before making any commitment.

So last year at Build they give away a Samsung Intel Tablet and now they will give away a Microsoft RT Tablet made by LG and a Samsung Windows 8 phone. Only thing left is to give away the XBox 720 with windows 8 to top it off and get all the developers rolling.

@OrigamiCar: Could you use an unlocked Verizon device on Sprint? They're both CDMA networks.

CDMA phones have to flashed to work with different carriers. The funny thing is that flashing is usually the other way around--people flashing Sprint phones to go to a different carrier.
