Ok, now it all comes together in such harmony, I really got to praise the work done across MS organization.
First is my experience with Office2013. Saving it onto skydrive is simple. It shows up in my SkyDrive folder locally, on Skydrive.com, on my Windows Phone 7. And all of them can be edited locally and sync up to the cloud. While I haven't really get the chance to try the new SkyDirve Office App interface, but, I get it is really nice too.
Then, today, I just published some videos to my skydrive using Live Movie Maker, which can be viewed in such nice HTML5 video player online, no more strange prototyped video player online. And they also appears in my SkyDrive local folder. And I moved around the files, rename them, delete other folders (many actions) in my local drive, and Skydrive app managed to figure out what changed without re-upload hundreds of MB.
The experience is so smooth and integrated now. And since I am one of the veteran, I have 20GB free, hehehehe. But, I got to say, it wasn't easy to be a SkyDrive lover because it wasn't all that great before. It works, but, never this good. SkyDrive is created back in the PhotoBucket era, after all these years of being the underdog, to see this service finally get a big commitment from MS is just giving me tears of joy.
I still missed Live Mesh a little big. But, I don't seem to be bothered with it anymore. I only have 20GB free, so, 20GB usage on my laptop/desktop is not much. I don't always need to re-download everything, so, it is ok. As for tablet, I could ways use the Metro SkyDrive to save my storage. Haven't try this on Xbox, but, probably really cool too.
