I find it amazing that so many versions of PCL exist, and they all stink. I don't know why, but printers that support PostScript just seem to work.

@Charles: One off bugs drive me nuts, and with PCL you can never have the same job look the same on two different printers.
People used to complain about how PostScript used too much RAM and network resources. But, now in the world of fast networks and boat loads of RAM, why sufferer the indignantly of inconsistency when there is an easy fix?

I had a friend who was seriously into PostScript for a while. As in he would write games and stuff in it.
