@SteveRichter, Mark's book is not a programming tutorial, dont expect it that way. Maybe you need a book like 'Windows via C/C++' or 'CLR via C#' from Jeffrey Richter, if he is working on that.

I am looking for a book that shows how to write the sys internals tools.
