About half the time I log into my Dashboard for the Windows Store, I'm greeted with a "enter the code we just texted you!" message, and I receive a text containing a six-or-so digit code. Which is okay, but it's sort of a hassle and the texts are piling up on my phone. Does anyone know if this is this regular behavior, or is there some way to, I don't know, authorize the machines I'm using to log in?

There is an option to trust the machine you are using which I think might eliminate all the chatter.
Damned if I can find the website for you...stand by..

You need to have Live Essentials installed, and use IE to set it up. -
That's weird, all my machines are already on there. I remember approving them too, when I installed W8. But I still get the authentication code things whenever I go to the developer dashboard.

Hmm strange, I don't have a Win8 token to test it sorry

I suddenly realised that some machines have W7 on them as well. I don't recall, but maybe all the times I kept getting the authentication codes was when I was trying to access the site on W7. I'll see if I can trust the W7 setups too on that site.
