Is there a way I can show all available code snippets without bringing up the Code Snippets Manager or hitting Ctrl+K+X? I'd love to have a list docked to the side to make me aware of snippets I could be using while typing.

I kind of cheat. I use the Toolbox for snippets of Xaml I use all the time. Then just drag from the Toolbox onto the Xaml surface.
You also see this in conferences when guys/gals on stage have snippets of code. I think they use the Toolbox as well.
