It is now a "Skype Premium" only feature (£10/month). Along with several other admittedly useless features like Group Calling and Unlimited Calling to a small selection of countries.    

I also like how if I want support from Skype, in-spite of me paying well over $70/year, I have to buy Skype Premium. I feel like such a valued customer...   

Anyone know any alternatives? We use Skype at work extensively, I'm going to start to look into better alternatives as this situation will likely continue to get worse as they've started removing product features.

I've heard bad things about some cisco solution that somewhere I know of upgraded to from PSTN (the specific complaints where that the software on the users' PCs is not fantastic and the fact that a lot of these IP telephony services aren't that inter compatible).

Performance is excellent, and the fact that it can be launched from their webpage without installation makes it pretty easy to use. Surprisingly, I found it's easier to get people to navigate to a site than getting them to find and use Remote Assistance, especially when multiple Windows versions and locales are involved.

It also supports PSTN calling, just like Skype and US-to-US calls are actually free (till the end of 2012). It's actually a pretty good product. Works on Linux too, which is a plus for me. Smiley

According to this it still exists in the free version for one to one.  Group requires premium but I recall that being the case prior.
