Dear Zune Team,

Stop removing features for international users! The update to Zune 4.7 that was made available in Belgium (Dutch) via the updated website http://www.zune.net/nl-BE/products/software/default.htm because of the Windows Phone 7 launch next week does not include smart DJ!
So they added the Marketplace and translated the interface but removed the SmartDJ feature. Why?! I'm kind of mad about this, it was one of my favourite features! I know we don't have a zune pass so SmartDJ can not get songs from the Zune collection, but it used to work with only my music library.

Could be two things: I understand SmartDJ is integrated with ZunePass, so if that's unavailable then SmartDJ would be semi-crippled.
Another reason is Microsoft's tendancy not to include things if they aren't localised (e.g. a *.hlp viewer for Windows Vista). I imagine with launch dates looming they might skip a few things.
...or it could be both.

@W3bbo: SmartDJ used to work on the English version I downloaded from the english zune.net website. (before you could download it via the Belgian zune.net )
I think it might be the second thing. But why does it need to be localised?! Music is Music... Coldplay music has the same 'similar music' in Belgium as it has in the US... It's a feature that find similar music in your local collection. I don't understand why...

My biggest WTF was this:
That was the non-resizable EULA window. Anyone would think they didn't want you to read it!

More likely they know that 99% of people don't read it anyway. Anyway, there's a print button if you want to print it out, not to mention the scroll bar.

@CKurt:What surprised me was that you can switch stores unless you are signed in: I downloaded the english version from the US website (essentially because I like software with an English speaking UI) and, unless I sign in with a French account, I cannot switch to the french market.
This is one thing that Microsoft does not get over and over again: locale is not the same thing as language, the two should be able to be set separately.

Give me a language setting! In Belgium we have 3 national languages... And I too like my software in English.
