More realistic scenario, hand-write them, try and convert them in OneNote and have OneNote tell you that your handwriting sucks and then spit out a bunch of gibberish. 

You must have some seriously bad handwriting. Mine isn't good and OneNote consistently gets 99%+ correct.

One thing you have to remember is not to write diagonally across the page.

Try using lined stationery and staying on the lines.
