@kettch: I guess it felt a little too loud and also didn't appear to emanate from the character himself. Will be interesting to hear what others think.  (Needless to say that It doesn't spoil what is a great movie)

possibly the sound system is not setup right or needs a check, or possibly you were to close to one of the speakers ?

were you near the left or right wall or more in the center of the room ?
