I don't use my personal computers at work. Everything is sandboxed.

I don't do it, but I can imagine that if you put your work code on your personal devices, your job will eventually cry out "you stoledz our code, you stoldz our code!" or something to that effect. I don't want that to be an issue. Usually their code is so @ss bad you'd have to pay somebody to use it anyway. Hence why it's a job.

Hard to get into? You mean like Stanford, CalTech, or MIT? You'd think that a university that's 15 minutes away from Cupertino would run entirely on Macs or at least Sun hardware.

Which UC school was that? Certainly, it couldn't have been the oldest and most prestigious of the UC schools.

There is a lot of people with Macs running Ubuntu in my graduate classes. Kind of weird, I guess.

I am not joking about Windows PC. People buy Windows PC having the exact same clueless reasons, just they didn't buy a Mac. Microsoft is cashing on the same clueless comsumers as well. Only the table is turned on phone and tablet market, and a big portion of notebook market, and big portion of younger generations.

Actually that isn't true for Windows PCs.  People buy them because their stuff works on it.  If they switched to a Mac then none of the software they already own would work on it.  They also keep the machines until they break.  Why do you think Microsoft still has to support an 11 year old operating system and still has people using IE6?
