Much like watching 'Sheldon' on the comedy 'Big Bang Theory', this Sherlock is interesting -- the writers give him such an eclectic personality.
Lucy Lui is a doll. She is Watson and that introduces what yanks seem to need, a love sub-plot. Oiy vey.
I can imagine you UK'ers' shock over this crass revisioning of such a venerable classic... but, as Ian stated, it is imminently watchable...

Did they ever explain how Lucy Liu's character's surname could be "Watson"? Or is it actually spelled "Huat-Sun"?
