Libertarianism makes the most sense to me, at least at the federal level. I would love to see federal income tax, social security, and medicare abolished and state/local income tax raised and state/local medical care implemented.

Since someone brought it up, Ron Paul is pro-life personally, but he believes the federal government does not have the power to make laws concerning it, and that the states should decide. It's too bad that he was never given a real chance in this primary election. I think if more people knew his platform, he would have received more than the ~10% of the vote that he did.
