It is probably one of those C9 hell appear on other places. I have never exprience C9 hell in other places though. But, probably because I didn't visit other sites as often as C9. Basically the problem is you cannot completely log off, and when that happens, it is up to the specific site to crap the way they feel they like to. In the case of C9, you will be locked inside a registeration page and blocked from viewing public contents. The toolbar on top of your link probably just crap out differently.
