I consider myself a Renaissance man, sometimes I code, sometimes I game, sometimes I breakdance or even surf. I'm Bboy360 you can check out my videos on youtube (over 140k views). So sometimes I get paid to code, sometimes I get paid to model, or breakdancing.
As for minecraft, they do have Xbox live cheevos. One reason I single Visual Studio out is because it's made by Microsoft. If this was boreland C++ or something, I wouldn't care as much. Microsoft has new windows 8 apps which fit very nicely into the Xbox live eco-system. It's just crazyness if microsoft has another achievement system.
