I can't say I know anybody who would be impressed by a gamer score. I guess it's a matter of what kind of crowd you want to be associated with.

Where I worked one time the boss gave out achievements for exceptional work (I was often exceptional).  If you earned enough you got to go on a date with his daughter.  (She was fit and let me cop a feel one time).
