@cheong: I hate to be  "that guy," and this is spilling over from another thread, but can you imagine the fallout if Microsoft had done this?  It'd probably be in the headlines: "Microsoft disables Java on personal computers; too much power?"  I wish people (and I'm not including you in this) wouldn't just say "Oh, that's just Apple, those silly guys!  Always good for a laugh!"  This is really aggravating stuff in my opinion.
