@Maddus Mattus: The time before that was a 'planned outage' while the dug up some cables, as was the time before that too (I suspect the aircraft factory requirements for more power may have had something to do with that), the time before that it was a blown-down telegraph pole.  Beyond that I can't remember, but all issues were localised and were fixed within four hours.

UK daytime electricity production is currently Nuclear, Coal and renewables and is very reliable -- you're fishing for a problem to support your argument where a problem doesn't exist; try looking at the facts first and then forming an opinion, not the other way around.
