I use Mouse Without Borders, from Microsoft Garage, on a Windows XP machine and a Windows 7 machine. Will Mouse Without Borders also work on a Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise machine?

Does it roam from machine to machine, spreading altruistic clicks to remedy PC malaise?
~never heard of it...

I use it all of the time between my W7 enterprise desktop and W8 enterprise Build tablet. It's worked since the dev preview version of W8. At home the tablet hooks up with my W8 Pro desktop. The software is fantastic. Make sure you get the latest version and not the one from the MS Garage site. Last I checked it was ancient.

Good, I'll get the latest version. BTW, where is the latest version? I thought it would be on the MS Garage website.

I think it's community supported now. You can get the latest on their support site.

I use Synergy as it also works with MacOS and Linux.
I wonder how this would work with the touch-optimized, crap on a stick for the desktop hotcorners.
Edit to add: Apparently you can configure "dead corners" in Synergy. Unfortunately, not much you can do about the charms bar as it's not in a corner.

@Craig_Matthews: The bar itself isn't in a corner, but it's summoned from one. It's pretty forgiving about staying visible, even if you manage to hit the corner and then swing wide of the icons onto a different monitor.
-
@kettch: Yeah, and I think these "dead corners" in Synergy can even be tweaked slightly too if necessary, so probably workable with the charms bar.
If "Windows Without Borders" has similar dead corner configuration options, it might work too.

Yeah "Mouse Without Borders" does. It has great W8 support.
