I would be just as likely to get one as an iPad 2. The "problem" with the iPad is I just don't have a need for it in my life.
If I spent an hour on the train, or did long international flights often, or had kids in the back of a car who I needed to keep quiet - sure I'd absolutely buy one.
I have no ideological reasons against the iPad - it is likely the best tablet on the market right now, with only the Galaxy Tab really competing for "real." If the iPad 3 is great, then that is wonderful, but it changes nothing.
Right now I own:
- Galaxy Note
- PC
- Laptop
No room for anything else.
