I installed W8 Pro a couple of days ago and today tried OneNote. I wanted to copy the 'free' Windows Media Center key email from the Metro Windows 8 Mail app. Initially I couldn't get any Copy selection at all. Then I discovered if I selected a text area I could copy if I pressed my mouse left key for a number of seconds before moving it. However it still only copied as far as the first graphic in the email. I could restart the copy after the graphic. After that I just pasted into OneNote without a problem. So I guess I have half a bug!
I'm using a laptop (i3 2.5GHz with 8GB memory).
