Windows 8 May Feature Infinite Storage via the cloud, file recovery through time travel and mind control as the standard input mechanism.
See, that's pretty lame. How about you provide a source and/or more information? The posting as is is basically spam.

Actually Windows 8 uses a classical Turing Machine with unbounded tape length for its infinite storage feature. It doesn't use the cloud at all.

I heard that they have implemented an algorithm that can successfully divide by zero. They use the resulting rift in space-time to store data.

I think he's asking a question if Microsoft will allow for more identifications systems for authorization when using the cloud backup feature. Will Open Id be supported or Google Id or Apple Id.

@ZippyV:I would think that Open ID would make the most sense. Then you aren't locked into any one provider, and you still get the benefits of services from Live, Google, etc (if those providers have implemented Open ID). At the same time Microsoft gets to claim that they are open and hip.

I'm still trying to figure out what the OP typed.

@ZippyV: Wow, really? There's a question in there? Guess it's hard to tell without any punctuation. In any case, AFAIK it's not been confirmed that Win8 will include cloud backup. So most of what I said still applies.

The rumor is that whatever hooks exist will be opened up to third-party providers, which makes sense if they don't want to be hit with another antitrust lawsuit. Of course, that doesn't mean that the third parties will bother fully implementing it ...

Does Apple even open their ID to others to use, outside of apps that go through their stores?
-
openid to avoid anti-trust law suit?
But I don't like openid by nature. I am confident to find a secure, non-evil, reliable openid provider, given I have basic internet security knowledge. But, I wouldn't say the same about other people who insist on running virus.exe files or the people who actually got their FB account phished to send IM spams.
So, personally I don't want it to support openid. I am fine they did stuff like WL Photo Gallery Upload plug-in to private IDs, but, not openid.
