@1001001: Why is this even note worthy? Something that I might find shocking, would entail a senior level microsoft exec stating that Windows 8 did not represent a giant gamble.

I think I finally figured out Microsoft's plan with Win8 on the desktop....

I remember when these came out and they seemed pretty pointless for a Win7 box. Now that Win8 has touchpad gesture support these mice make perfect sense. No more hot points you have to find. You can just use gestures like you would on a touch screen.

I just wish those came as bluetooth mice. I hate having to use a custom receiver taking up one of my USB ports.
