It is a MagBook, not a monthly magazine, hence the higher price. Magbooks are designed to stay current longer than magazines and have much less advertising.

(Just bought a copy for my daughter).
Would be nice to have had some interviews with independent developers and maybe feature some of their Apps next time. Nice to see it on the shelves nevertheless.
