Apple never changes:

"Not Invented/Implemented Here" == Bad Idea

"Invented/Implemented Here" == Genius Idea

Larger iPhone was a bad idea at iPhone4S launch... now it's a brilliant idea with iPhone5.

NFC and Wireless charging are bad ideas with iPhone5... they'll be the hot thing for iPhone6.
