Channel 9 has been educating me in Microsoft's technology for nearly a decade now.

I learned a lot just from reading threads on C9 and getting real perspectives on how stuff is done in the real world. Books overload you with information and make you believe you have to think of every random bit when designing a solution, and at that point, you lose sight of the purpose. Schools don't even teach anything in the Microsoft stack. I think I'd even credit my first job to C9.
