hi peter - i remember your avatar... ya i dont want to resort to 200% to READ ![]()
- 2- samsung 305 T's 2650 (*2560)? x 1600
Just buy a 27 inches 1080p monitor, which is what I did.
except i have 2 MONITORS - both 30" - 305t's
lets just say NORMAL text is challanging enough... c9 text is like...MOUSE text??
to be honest it looks here like font - 8pt - 10-pt could work? 12pt - i could read
Add some custom css and make the font-size 2em for post-content and threads.

is everyone seeing what im seeing tho? ... like little - ® all rights reserved size text...
this is great for legal.... but body copy should be readable?
...i literally have to sit and focus just to read what ive posted.... so smalll
NOT very user friendly
edit - and actually it looks like 7pt text
insane
The text on C9 looks bigger to me than the UI text in Windows (easy comparison because both use Segoe UI). Windows uses 9pt, so C9 has to be larger than that.
oh NOW i get it ... im not running 1920 x 1080... no wonder C9 re-designed everything to look good at that ONE resolution - i mean after all - all new monitor come that way (practically)
oh well - i have GOOD moniotrs... guess i can just get a magnifying glass to read C9 ![]()
hi sven ![]()
your wrong sven ![]()

I looked at your pic in full size, and those fonts are still way smaller than what it looks like for me. What's more, that isn't Segoe UI. Don't you have the Segoe UI font on your system? What OS are you running?
Here's what it should look like, with Explorer side-by-side:
You can clearly see that the text on C9 is larger than the text in Explorer (see the "e" in "Desktop" and "sven" for example).
Also, my image is clickable (inserted using the image button on the editor toolbar).
are you in ie? your examples are larger than text im viewing - to view them
* maybe i got some weird IE no one else has - or my video cards are reporting their resolutions incorrectly.
all i know is - i cant read c9 anymore
edit: maybe they are trying to be like facebook with small leaded tahoma... but i can read facebook - it is smaller than that. i mainly want to know - does everyone see this font (fonts) smaller than facebook? or am i crazy and my fonts are wrong
(* I always knew you were crazy but now i can see your nuts! ![]()
I'm with @jamie on this one -- as a forum is geared towards reading blocks of text, it should be optimised for ease of reading and a larger font size you definitely help. The font I get is the same as the UI font, as Sven points out, but the UI font is not optimised for reading blocks of text.
