Yes, but outlook.com for example doesn't look into your emails to target you for adverts.

I forgot to quote, but was responding to Vaccano and not really speaking specifically about Microsoft.  It was more of a generalized statement that a lot of corporations do care about personal information. 

Personally, I don't mind if they mine some of my data because in turn, I am getting a service out of it (like free email).  On a side note, I like the voice recognition on my WP7, works well for what I use it for.
