Looks like the vertical bar character | is being pasted as '. Is there a bug in the character map? Hopefully this can be fixed as my language thread (http://channel9.msdn.com/Forums/Coffeehouse/Prototyping-New-Language-With-Haskell) doesn't make sense with this mix-up.
To reproduce, create a new forum posting, enter a |, then copy and paste it. Always comes out as ' for me.

I have found the issue. There was an error in the routine that replaces 'smart' quotes with regular quotes. Javascript and Unicode can be tricky together.
The fix has been checked in and should be released in the next week or so.
