It's difficult to try and repro this one without going through the rigmarole of setting up a new account, so it may be a case of PEBKAC rather than a genuine bug, but:

I clicked "mark all as read" in site feedback (accidentally as it happens...)

I returned the the coffeehouse and everything was marked as read.
