First of all, the "new" Channel9 looks pretty good (is always a challenge to get used to a new website when the old one works great, but anyway).
So I tried to switch my "classic login" to Live ID. But for some reason that switching does not work. After logging in into Live ID, I'm getting asked if I want to use my Live ID, which I confirm, but then it displays "Thank you for switching to LiveID. You will now sign in to Channel 9 using this LiveID: " and then nothing more behind that.
When coming back to the page being logged in with Live ID, I'm asked to choose a new user name, which seems to try to create a new account, which is actually not what I want to do.
So, am I doing something wrong? Or is that a known issue?
As long as I can sign in using the classic login (which is thankfully still there) things are okay, but when the final switch is made someday, I don't want to be left behind
