Sorry folks, I'm giving you the wrong impression here... There wasn't any issue with the data centers, it was completely 100% a human error. We keep our databases (one per geographic location) in sync using Data Sync, set to run every 5 minutes. A new database I was setting up in Asia was not replicating correctly so I needed to delete it, but to do that I needed to stop the scheduled sync, wait for it to stop any sync activity with that database, then delete it. What I *did* was stop the sync, start doing something else, realize I needed to get home because I was supposed to pick up dinner for the kids, and never turn sync back on until today. Completely human error, and nothing going wrong with the data center or even the data.

I am very surprised that any one person would see both North Central and South Central data centers from the same network though, I would expect that DNS routing would be pretty stable and you'd end up always going to the same place. I do understand hitting different ones from your phone and your PC though, as they could be going through completely different networks, completely different DNS servers, etc...
