Site Feedback - What Channel9 videos I have watched?

First of all, thanks for the site, the videos, and the queue!

But... a year ago I watched a few great videos. I don't know which was them, and videos are not easy to search. I would like to see them again and recommend to a friend. I gave them 5 star rating. So I would like to have "my rated videos" in profile (or a second queue).

I think this is a fair request:

1) You must have info about them because I can't vote many times the same video

2) By EU law, I have the right to get the information you store about me.

Organisations can charge you a fee of up to 15EUR/10GBP for the request

2. Organisations outside of the EU (such as Microsoft US) do not have to comply with the EU directive

3. You have to submit your request in writing to Microsoft Headquarters addressed to Microsoft Legal for them to address the concern.

4. There is a blanket exemption for "publically accessible information" and "information already available to the requestor", such as the information you're asking for, so they don't even need to do anything.

So what I'm basically saying is that if you want help, it's usually better to start with "please", rather than threatening legal action.

It wasn't a threatening... And this is a great site. But I made the same request, back in 2010, and I was adviced to make a Microsoft Connect issue. I did, and didn't get response. Now if I try to go to the Connect-page with that Id I see that it is removed or something: The system has encountered an unexpected error.

You might want to try directly contacting the C9 developers via this link: http://channel9.msdn.com/ContactUs

In practice however you'll probably find that C9 has a record of which videos you've voted for, rather than which videos you've watched. The links that change colour / boldness once you've visited them appear to be remembered by your computer via a cookie rather than C9's servers, so you might find that this isn't a question that can be trivially answered by the C9 team.

Still, there's no harm in asking again.
