a lot of times i watch a good video and want to save it after it has been streamed. is it possible to have a "save as..." option in the context menu to save streamed videos on disk?

save the already buffered version you mean, versus downloading it again from the main video page?
I don't believe so, I don't even think that our code has access to that content to do anything with it...

@duncanma: yeah i meant saving the already buffered version. so, wouldn't it be possible to have that functionality in the silverlight player that we use to view the videos on C9? we do have support for right-click context menus since silverlight 3.

The right-clicking isn't the problem, it is getting access to the bits in the buffer to save them. I don't think that is possible...
