Thanks for the bump! Looking into this issue now! I love how you niners make my job so much easier by reporting issues/spammers. i love this community!

@reply to post: Yep, still broken.
-
That was my mistake, sorry. I changed the title on the reply to link when I was working on a different feature, not realizing that it was being used by the script that generates the reply to name when you click the button. I guess this would be an example of the one drawback of unobtrusive javascript! Geoff fixed the reply to code to generate the name from elsewhere already so I think we're just waiting for it to be pushed to production.

NP Cara. We all know how terrible javascript can be. Now just tell that to Sinofsky and his windiv pals.

Hey I know it was working earlier but as you can see by this post it's broken again.
Thanks for having such great integrity.

@DeathByVisualStudio:it should be working now, you seem to be moving between data centers, based on this and some other posts, would you mind telling me the IP address and name of your DNS server? typing nslookup at a command line should tell you that info
-
This appears to be limited to work (though I haven't tried this anywhere but at work and home -- home is Comcast). At work I get the South Central data center. The only thing "south" about my location is that I'm in Southern Washington State (Vancouver).
I'm not sure what good telling you the IP address of my work's internal DNS servers but I'll see if IT can tell me who they forward to. Here's the IP's it's resolving for channel9.msdn.com:
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: ch9southcentralus.cloudapp.net
Address: 157.55.200.221
Aliases: channel9.msdn.com
channel9.ctp.trafficmgr.com
