"Animaonline Remote Desktop" lets the user connect to computers that are running Windows NT 4.0 and later versions, and remote control them. The application uses Microsoft "Remote Desktop Protocol"
The "Remote Desktop Protocol" default settings were tweaked to make this application faster than MSTSC, there are also some additional features.
This version is still really simple, later versions (1.5+) will feature some advanced and neat features
such as "PingBoot" and many others, but that's still top secret !

Hi Animaonline, I'm trying to run your app on a Windows 2000 machine and get the following error message when I try to load this app.
Data source is either invalid or cannot be found. System message: A required argument is missing or incorrect.
It appears as a dialog box, with the dialog title as "System Monitor Control".
I'm running the 1.2 Beta from your CodePlex project page. -
Thank you for submitting this bug! I will look at it ASAP, have you tried older versions?

very nice work indeed.

Thank you

I found a solution! Try copying the file sysmon.ocx to your /System32/ folder.
You can find the file here: http://www.codeplex.com/ARD/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=6398
please let me know if this solution works for you.
It should help, and if it does not, try removing the Sysmon control from the source and compiling it... -
Unfortunately it's still not working on the Windows 2000 machine, but it does work fine on my XP tablet PC.
Having said that, I think it'd be nice to be able to resize the size of the Remote Desktop window.
At the moment, even if I maximise the Window, the Remote Desktop stays at the same size.
I probably notice this on the Tablet PC because i'm running at 1400x1050.
Great stuff though!
