Is there a way to create an automation object from a non-registered .Net assembly?
For example, script component objects can be "gotten" from a file: GetObject("script:C:\\myObjects.wsc#anObjectId");
So I'm wondering about that sort o' thing with a managed dll...

Yeah, it looks like the problem would be in the application manifest applying only to the host (wscript.exe), rather than each script in which details would need to change. Non-registered WSCs work due to the registered "script" moniker, I guess...

By the way, what happens when a ProgID is not unique? Does it register? (Will something explode? I don't really want to chance experimentation...)
