I just installed Windows Vista and was wondering what are the Development CTP versions of Visual Studio and SQL I can install with it so that i can do WinFX and WinFS development...

It depends on the build of Vista you have installed.

At the moment, you can only use Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 along with the September CTP's of the WinFX Runtime, WinFX SDK, and WinFX Extensions for Visual Studio. Tim Sneath has reported that updated CTP's for Visual Studio 2005 RTM will be released within the next couple of weeks.

Actually, on build 5231 you can only use the VS2005 RC.

So the bottom line:
1) Vista build 5219: VS 2005 Beta 2, WinFX Beta 1.
2) Vista build 5231: VS 2005 RC, no WinFX development.
3) November CTP of Vista: VS 2005 RTM, new build of WinFX?
Is this right?
