How difficult/costly would it be to include the following two features into PDA/Handhelds?
#1: TabletPC-like pen/digitizer interface
#2: Hard Drives
The digitizer and pen interface would be for smoother/better handwriting recognition.
The Hard Drives would be to compete with iPod's and the like. It could turn the PDA form factor into something similar to the Portable Media Center that Microsoft/Creative just released.
Possible/Not Possible?
Would that boost the PDA's price from the $500 range to the $1000 range?
I was just curious,
Joshua

I like the idea of a portable media centre! However, most PDAs I know of already have a pen. How are they different in Tablets? I wouldn't know, since I don't own a Tablet PC.

I love flash cards for storing data. Their much faster than a hard-drive, since their random access!
All we need is 80 Gb flash cards, and then we can all toss our desktops!
