Quick question.
I am building a media player / portable storage application, but have been writting custom C# classes / methods to do everything and to interact with Lame.
What are the requirements I would need to start converting over to WinFX?
Do I just need to download the WinFX runtime / sdk, or do I also need to be running Vista?
I am currently using VS.Net 2005 and XP SP2. -
THNKS.. IT Worked

H4LOPR1CK: You need WinFX runtime (WinFX RC) and WinFX SDK. No need for Vista if you just want to create simple programs.

This statement is completely wrong. what do you mean by "simple programs?

WPF can run on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista, so Vista is not a necessity.

Excellent. Thanks for clarifying that for me. -

WPF is not the only part of WinFX. -

No but the original question was:
What are the requirements I would need to start converting over to WinFX?
Do I just need to download the WinFX runtime / sdk, or do I also need to be running Vista?
Not all of WinFX runs on XP. -
