How can the current search engines be too complex? They're usually only a textbox? The UI of YOUR 'search engine', and the steps you have to take to be able to search your content, are too complex. If you mean that the IMPLEMENTATION of other search engines is too complex: who gives a rat's àss how complex the implementation is? The user doesn't have to know the innards of the system to be able to use it. That's ridiculous! So, your showdown is to show normal people HOW the system works? I understand that it's necessary for YOUR 'search engine' to know how it works, to be able to use it, but NORMAL search engines don't require this. They simply let you search your content without having to think about it.

Tommy you won't get anything simpler than this.

I knew I would get a majority against me. I've
been dealing with Geeks since 1970. Say things
the right way and the "Black is White" mentality
comes out every time. What would I learn if all
I got was agreement. Not much.

The real measure of complexity is the stack
of software you need before you are up on a
new computer. Mine is very very small.

15 or 20 minutes of video will show anybody
how to unburden themselves from all the geek
stuff that has crept into their lives with
computers. If you have a good backup of your
text, video, music and pictures then this
program is the only application you will ever
need. And that's a fact I'll prove again and
again.

Don't need no firewall, virus protection and
indexing going on. Making my computer act like
it's 10 years old. Thats not performance.

The easiest way to explain anything is to demonstrate.
That's what I'll do, on my dropshots site. Many of you
might even want to participate. Even secretly use the
Search in the halls of MicroSoft.

I'm getting out of here before I wear out My welcome.
It's getting pretty thin, I'm thinking. Other sites
would have turfed long ago. Congratulations.
