downloading orcas

I have vs2005, .net 3.0 rc1 and the sdk installed but when I try to download orcas I get the error that I am missing the .net 3.0 runtime?

Get the most recent release.

The current betas of Orcas run in a virtual machine set up by Microsoft, so this shouldn't be an issue with the most recent version.

I had the .net 3.0 RC1 installed when it should have been the .net 3.0 September ctp.

There is somthing wrong the the Sept CTP Virtual PC image. I tried to add it to the Virtual PC 2004, and i get an error message that some base01 hard drive is missing or something to that effect.

You need to download the CTP image;

And the base image
