Distributing xaml

I want to be able to distribute my xaml files but also want to protect them so don't really want to send the xaml.

1. xbap needs IIS installed on the server and there are very few of these about but it would be perfect to be able to run with one click.

2. xbap packaged and run locally has trust issues

3. .exe is a pain, many machines wont run due to the fact its an .exe and it may be harmful etc. etc.

so how do I distribute so people can just run the xaml?

I appreciate that you may say that its ok to send the xaml as its markup and there can be nothing special in there but in this case there is in terms of how the xaml code is structured relates to how the app runs. So far we have been making videos to distrubute but this is getting to be painful and you don't get the full feel of things.

You might take a look at how I do this in Vista Smalltalk.

"Loose Xaml" is downloaded to the application at runtime and  the callbacks are done dynamically.

You don't have to use IIS to use XBAP - mine is deployed from a UNIX server - just upload the proper .htaccess file.

Yes you are correct the server does not need IIS

the first link is just a red square the second is a red square when clicked should move.

If anyone with .net 3.0 could try that would be great and let me know what happened.
